Uniform
At Coleridge Primary we encourage our children to take pride in everything they do, including their appearance which is why we have a school uniform. We ask parents and carers to support us in implementing this dress code.
Our uniform comprises of a jade green sweatshirt or cardigan, a white polo shirt and either black or grey trousers or a skirt or pinafore dress. For safety reasons we ask that children wear sensible shoes, not flip flops or shoes with a high heel. Please ensure that all items of clothing, including coats and shoes, are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
For your convenience if you would like to purchase items of uniform with the school logo on them, including fleeces, polo shirts and sweatshirts, there is a selection available to purchase through local suppliers including Jonny Ds and Pinders.

For PE lesson and activities, the children must wear:
- A plain jade green or white t-shirt – No football shirts
- Black joggers, shorts, or leggings
- Suitable sports trainers
- A school jumper (please note, hoodies are not permitted)
We would discourage children from wearing jewellery in school to prevent loss, damage or injury. However, if children have pierced ears we ask that only studs are worn. All jewellery, including stud earrings, must be removed before PE, swimming and any other sports or games activities.

Branded Items
- From September, there will be no requirement for pupils to wear school uniform items with the Coleridge branded logo.
- This change supports the UK Children and Wellbeing Schools Bill, which encourages more affordable and accessible uniform options.
- Branded and unbranded jumpers and polo shirts will still be available from our uniform suppliers.
