PE SEF and Action Plan 2017/18

Strengths Areas for Development Action Points
Children receiving 2 hours of high quality PE per week

Attendance records demonstrate high numbers of children are accessing extra-curricular sports regularly: basketball, high fives (netball), orienteering, tag rugby, tennis, cricket, rounders, sports hall athletics inter-school fixtures.

Increased numbers of children attending sports events & clubs.

Attendance records show that numbers of children attending holiday clubs and extra-curricular sporting activities has increased.

Children have access to a wider range of sporting activities.

Pupil attitudes to sports have improved. Feedback from coaches and festivals shows that our children are now keen sportspeople who are willing to have a go, competitive but also courageous in defeat.

Pupils achieve highly in sports – the school has received many trophies and awards from festivals and fixtures.

Variety of equipment to enable staff to deliver all lessons

To ensure staff continue to work alongside Live & Learn Sports Coaches to further develop their knowledge and understanding.
